Jeremy N. Gregory
Born an artist, Jeremy Gregory is a creative force!
A native to the Pacific Northwest, he is influenced by nature, port living, and the antics that take place around him.
As a child Jeremy would use his talents to focus and express himself, and today it still holds true. Known for his unique style, his approach to storytelling draws you in as you interpret the uncomfortable and magical aspects of life that Jeremy is expressing. Whether creating paintings, illustrations, murals, or stop-motion – you find yourself relating to his pieces in some way.
A graduate from the Art Institute of Seattle (2001), Jeremy never stopped producing or engaging. Having a soft-heart for community, it is common to find him participating in positive opportunities. A few to note are the Seattle At Risk Youth program where he was a mentor artist at what was then called Panels for Progress (2000) – now called Urban Art Works, also helping to develop and implement the City of Tacoma’s mural program, participating in their Spaceworks program, and guerilla marketing project – You’ll Like Tacoma. And recently, participating in a private guerilla marketing effort called South Sound Proud.
In between creating art and engaging with community, Jeremy found time to participate in the City of Tacoma’s Public Art: In Depth (PA:ID) program (2013) and taught graphic design to high school students at the School Of The Arts (SOTA) in Tacoma Washington (2010 - 2015).
Currently, you will find Jeremy creating a stop-motion world of puppets that he has named . This adventure has exploded into a whole new inspiring realm for Jeremy – it is a very exciting time!
